The Deming Homestead Eagle Park is a beautiful park for observing eagles in their natural habitat. Located off Mt. Baker Highway, just east of Highway 9 and behind Il Caffe Rifugio.
Silver Lake Park is an 411 acre waterfront park with swimming area, trails, fishing, boat rentals, public boat launch, playground, picnic tables and more.

Sno-Park - When Snowmobiling, Cross Country Skiing or Snowshoeing in the National Forest, don't forget that you need a permit for designated areas. Please click on the Sno-Park website for more information, maps, directions, current conditions, grooming reports and to purchase your permit online.
Equipment and Instruction
Glacier Ski Shop offers equimpent for rental or purchase. Located in Glacier, it's on the way to the ski area.
American Alpine Institute offers several instruction courses at Mt. Baker for Backcountry skiing, Alpine Ice Climbing, Mountaineering, and more.
The Mt. Baker Snowboard Shop sells snowboards, boots, bindings and equipment for your day at the mountain.
River Rafting
Raft the Nooksack River with Wild and Scenic River Tours. Rated as a Class 3 River, rafting trips are available from May through Mid August.
Wineries
Mt. Baker Vineyards is an award winning winery located on Mt. Baker Highway. Visit this winery year round for tastings, tours and purchasing wine in their wine shop.
