It all started with a small construction company, a dream and one cheap lot...
In 2003, we bought a lot in Snowline for $17,000, built our first spec home and sold it before we were half way done. Those were the times! In the past 10 years, our construction company, Kestrel Homes, has built many custom and spec homes in the Glacier area, specializing in higher end custom homes.
In 2009, we saw an increasing demand for the vacation rental management of "nicer" homes in the area. The homes we were building, didn't fit the traditional Mt. Baker mold of "rustic ski cabin." We began Luxury Getaways, with our 3 chalets, all new and recently built. From there, we've acquired more vacation homes and continue to grow with a select group of clients who appreciate the care and time we devote to each home in not only maintining it to higher standards but our excellent vacation rental management program that generates a nice revenue stream from their vacation homes.
We have built a majority of the homes in our vacation rental company, but welcome any new clients to join our team.
