Mt. Baker Rim

A private, gated community in deep second-growth forest, and the closest of our neighbourhoods to the chairlifts.

Mt. Baker Rim sits on a bench above the Nooksack just east of Glacier, behind a gate with a code we send the morning of arrival. Lots are large and heavily treed, so cabins feel genuinely private even when neighbours are close. The community owns private hiking trails, a clubhouse, tennis courts and a seasonal pool. In winter the interior roads are plowed but steep — all-wheel drive is a good idea, and chains live in the trunk from December on.
