Silver Lake

Waterfront cabins near the Canadian border, with the kind of stillness that is hard to find anywhere.

Silver Lake sits north of Maple Falls, a twenty-minute detour off the highway and a world away from ski traffic. Cabins here look out over water rather than into trees — fishing, canoes, swimming off a dock in August. It is the furthest of our neighbourhoods from the ski area, so it skews heavily to summer, but shoulder-season rates are the best we have.
